Throwback Thursday: CASH & CSFRI Joint Symposium

Throwback Thursday to the CASH & CSFRI Joint Symposium! This symposium was about research and practice informed design of Early Childhood/pre-kindergarten learning spaces.

Kirstyn Bonneau, AIA attended this event in Long Beach last month. As a mother of small children and as an architect, Kirstyn values organizations like CASH and CSFRI. It is their keen awareness of the positive impact quality school facilities have on student academic achievement and community success that makes them indispensable. 

The lectures and interactive activities ranged from the exploration of the needs and learning barriers of Pre-Kindergarten children, the curriculum educators use to guide them, and design strategies for outdoor learning and play spaces.
