GROVER CLEVELAND CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER

PBWS is serving as architect for the comprehensive modernization of Grover Cleveland Charter High School.  This Design-Build project, with Kemp Bros. Construction, includes a new Child Development Center that accommodates children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old.  Though located on the campus of Cleveland High School, enrollment is open to the community.  The facility is airy and bright, via skylights and a large, glazed sliding door leading to the outdoor play area.  An adjacent 32-seat classroom supports the Los Angeles Unified School District’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) program.  This program provides high school students with industry certification in preparation for post-secondary training and employment.
