This facility accommodates 96 children in two paired demonstration classrooms that may be joined by opening full-height sliding glass doors.  Each classroom has an attached restroom, observation room for Child Development students, staff workroom, wet learning area, and ample storage for instructional materials.  Sliding glass doors provide access from the classrooms to the play area.  The building also includes a full commercial kitchen, conference room, staff work room, staff lounge, administrative offices for the child care unit, sick room, and college-level classrooms and faculty offices for the College’s Child Development Department.  The Center has been provided with a touch-screen video kiosk in the lobby that is keyed to informational signage throughout the building, highlighting its sustainable features.
