This facility provides an exemplary early childhood education program for 90 children, serves as a practicum and observation field site for 1,400 students enrolled in Child & Family Studies courses, and provides a needed service to parents attending the college. It is a comfortable environment for learning within a dense, urban setting. The building is composed of five child development classrooms on the ground floor supported by a full-service kitchen.  On the second floor are five additional classrooms and faculty offices to support the Child & Family Studies Department.  The facility features a two-story elliptical glass and aluminum curtain wall, exterior metal cladding, and large overhead doors that create a strong indoor/outdoor connection for the children as well as maximizing play space.
