Barton Anderson, Partner

Barton Anderson joined PBWS in 2005 after 14 years with a large, Southern California educational design practice.  His emphasis is on facilities for youth and young adults, ranging from childcare to K-12 and higher education facilities.  He has a strong background in sustainable design and issues associated with creating environments conducive to learning. As Design Partner at PBWS, he provides design direction and leadership on all projects undertaken by the firm.  He is a licensed architect in California, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). He is also on the Membership Committee of the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP).

Wade Frazier

Wade Frazier, Partner

For 30 years, Wade Frazier has been dedicated to the practice of architecture for both public and private entities. He has been involved in the programming, planning, design, and project coordination of a variety of large-scale educational and medical facilities.  Wade joined PBWS in 2008, after 19 years with a large, Southern California architectural firm where he served as a Technical Director and member of the corporation’s Quality Assurance Committee.  As Director of Architecture at PBWS, Wade serves as a technical resource to the staff.  He is a California licensed architect, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a member of the Construction Specifications Institute.

Kirstyn Bonneau, Partner

Kirstyn Bonneau joined PBWS in 2006, upon graduation from the USC School of Architecture. She focuses on educational, municipal, and non-profit facilities planning and design, often serving as a workshop leader and consensus-builder with user groups and public stakeholders.  Kirstyn has also designed affordable housing in Fresno and Los Angeles Counties.  As Partner, Kirstyn addresses owner-level management duties with emphasis on client relations, business development, strategic planning, and staffing. She is a licensed architect in California, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).

 
Gregory Sun

Gregory Sun,

Partner EMERITUS

Greg Sun joined PBWS upon his graduation from Cal Poly Pomona in 1978 and was named a Principal of the firm in 1983.  Greg is a California licensed architect with specialized expertise in providing ADA consulting services.  He was the sixth person in California to obtain his Certified Access Specialist (CASp) certification when the Division of the State Architect (DSA) inaugurated the program in 2008.  Greg is an American Institute of Architects-approved provider for continuing education in the area of disabled access compliance and is also a Certified Interior Designer (CID) in California.  He is currently Managing Partner of the firm.

Fred Wesley

Fred Wesley, Partner EMERITUS

Fred Wesley joined the firm while an architecture student at USC and became a full-time employee following his graduation in 1974.  Mr. Wesley began his post-graduate career working on one of the firm’s construction sites as an apprentice carpenter and then quickly became involved in the firm’s design-build practice, leading the design and construction of a number of projects ranging from houses to the first clinical magnetic resonance imaging facility in the western U.S. Fred has been affiliated with a number of local civic organizations and has served several non-profit organizations in the San Gabriel Valley.  He is a licensed architect in California, a Certified Access Specialist, and a LEED Accredited Professional.
