Richard P. Feynman Lecture Hall Modernization

Pasadena, California

PBWS was assigned the delicate task of modernizing this historic lecture hall.  This facility famously served as the venue where faculty member and Nobel Laureate Richard P. Feynman delivered his “Lectures on Physics” in the 1960’s.  It was of utmost importance that the renovation maintain the historic fabric and character of the space.

The scope of work included restorative work to the historic finishes within the space, while carefully and thoughtfully introducing modern day/communication technology to assist the critical learning outcomes for which Caltech is renowned.
